Build Technician - Avionics Test Engineering (Onsite)

The organization is looking for a motivated individual to provide exemplary technical builds. As a key member of the engineering support team, the Avionics Test Technician will work closely with engineers to produce new designs and contribute suggested modifications for producibility. **What You Will Do:** + Provide building support for test assemblies for research, design, development, or manufacturing activities for various internal customers.  + Inspection of test assembly builds for Collins build processes and workmanship standards. + Read engineering drawings and use lookup tools. + ITA (Interchangeable Test Adapter) and fixture construction, integrated rack installation. + Cable harness construction and continuity verification. + Prepare and solder all levels of electronic components onto Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), cable connectors, and electronic parts according to specifications. + Knowledge of different soldering materials, fluxes, and solders, and their appropriate usage. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
