The Role
Oversee the placement and broking of new and recurring builders risk exposures. Provide expert leadership in broking activities, ensuring consistent client satisfaction. Develop and execute placement strategies for new business, renewals, and coverage modifications. Deliver compelling presentations to establish and strengthen client and market relationships. Analyze and model client risk exposures, leveraging data to optimize placement strategies. Conduct thorough evaluations of coverage solutions, identifying and advising on risk strategies. Negotiate terms with underwriters, securing favorable outcomes for clients. Foster strong partnerships with insurance carriers and key stakeholders. Stay informed on market trends and developments, sharing insights with colleagues and clients. Manage the end-to-end proposal process, including drafting, negotiating, and finalizing quotes, terms, and coverage confirmations. Conduct peer reviews to enhance program effectiveness and ensure quality standards. Serve as a mentor and resource for junior brokers. Develop and maintain strong business relationships with Underwriters, Senior Client Advocates, Client Advocates, and Underwriting contacts.The Requirements
Eight to ten years of client-facing experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on Property & Casualty; Property & Casualty license required.Demonstrated technical expertise in insurance, including coverage design, gap analysis, and consultation.Strong analytical and modeling skills, with the ability to present insights clearly.Proven ability to leverage internal and external relationships to align WTW’s resources with client needs.Experience developing creative solutions for complex risk challenges and driving stakeholder consensus.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage executive-level audiences.Ability to lead large, multifaceted projects with minimal oversight.Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros); experience with advanced data manipulation is a plus.Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and ability to navigate challenging client situations with professionalism.Minimal travel required.Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation.
Compensation
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $115,000-$160,000 USD per year.
This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
