As a Building Access Technician II, you are responsible for installing and repairing mechanical door locks, related services, and projects in university structures. You will assist the Building Access Supervisor and the Building Access Technician II with normal operating shop functions including installation, maintenance, and repair of university card access systems. Opportunities to contribute: We need your ability to assist with installation of university card access systems in university structures. Wires and installs control modules, card readers, door hardware, and all other components of the system. Maintains the university card access system by troubleshooting wiring problems or lock malfunctions. Includes use of a volt/ohm meter, and other tools to troubleshoot. You will provide excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills in every aspect of your job.
