STATUS: Full Time

LOCATION: Canton-Potsdam Hospital

DEPARTMENT: Laboratory

SCHEDULE: 7.5 Hour, Variable

ATTRIBUTES

Preferred: custodial experience

Preferred: high school education or equivalent

RESPONSIBILITIES

Removal and disposal of trash and waste product.

Clean exam rooms, restrooms, offices and clinic common areas within established

departmental standards.

Maintain floors, strip and wax floors; shampoo carpets according to scheduled maintenance

standards.

Maintain walkways to ensure safe access.

Respond to visitor, patient and staff requests for assistance.

Maintain knowledge of OSHA and MSDS practices.

High focus on customer and patient satisfaction.

Working as a team towards accomplishing departmental goals.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

PAY RANGE:

$17.31 - $24.60

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
