Job Title: Building Automation Design Professional 

Location: Guaynabo, Puerto Rico - HYBRID 

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Building Automation Design Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing building automation systems that enhance energy efficiency, operational effectiveness, and occupant comfort. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, as well as expertise in direct digital control (DDC) systems.

Responsabilities: 

·         Contract Review: Review contract plans, specifications, proposals, and budgets to ensure compliance and identify project requirements.

·         Design Development: Design DDC control panels, wiring schematics, and system interfaces to control building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

·         Product Selection: Select control system products and develop project bill of materials (BOM) for procurement and installation.

·         Documentation: Document system sequence of operations and operating parameters, ensuring clarity for installation and future maintenance.

·         Network Design: Design Building Management System (BMS) communication networks, facilitating effective integration of various control systems.

·         Wiring Diagrams: Develop electrical installation wiring diagrams and detailed scopes of work for contractors.

Education: 

·         Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

·         3+ years of experience in building automation or control system design.

·         Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and building automation tools.

·         Strong understanding of DDC systems, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.

·         Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

·         Strong communication and collaboration abilities
