The Building Automation Service Sales Manager is committed to promoting Siemens strong market position for delivering smart building technology to help our customers create outstanding experiences for their customers. As a Building Automation Service Sales Manager you will:
Promote team selling and expansion of existing relationships across divisions and/or geographic areas. Act as a resource to sales employees regarding our products, applications, and services; support the sales process through all phases, including job turnover and implementation. Communicate goals, provide mentoring to develop skills, lead employee performance, and conduct performance appraisals and coach sellers to strategically assess customer needs and identify customer buying priorities. Review bids to ensure accuracy to meet company and customer objectives. Assist employees in setting margins, identifying resources, assessing future business, and establishing executive-level relationships with targeted contractors and customers. Network with field organization, headquarters, and other Siemens divisions to gain knowledge of offerings, share knowledge with your team and other employees, and develop sales forecasts and provide input to sales targets. Assist the sales team in identifying market opportunities; develop strategies to improve impact to the company. Participate in development of long-range sales planning and growth strategies. Articulate and drive our digitalization strategy, remote services, and big data analytics and maintain trade contacts and participate in industry association functions. Travel overnight 10% on average for training and business development.You will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or state-recognized GED10+ years of sales experienceMust be able to demonstrate:Technical proficiency in application of mechanical systems, electrical systems, IT, building technologies, and/or demand-side energy management Ability to interpret job specifications and drawings to coach sellers in developing winning strategiesWorking knowledge and understanding of contracting business with tier of contractorsOrganizational, presentation, and negotiation skills Verbal and written communication skills in EnglishExperience with Microsoft Office suiteMust be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, EngineeringManagement experience in the construction industry Experience selling to various vertical markets such as healthcare, higher education, etc.Experience selling to contractors, architects, and/or end usersExperience within the HVAC and/or Building Automation Controls industryProficiency with Salesforce CRMYou’ll benefit from:
