Responsibilities:
Inspects, maintains and calibrates all temperature, humidity and recording devices including meters and gauges. Reads, writes, modifies and maintains automated building software and hardware for designated systems.Maintains inventory and records for sensor and control devices related to digital and pneumatic systems.Troubleshoots, analyzes and advises on system malfunctions and operational requirements. Ensures safe and effective operations and working environment. Responds to alarms, sensors, and alerts appropriately. Work may occasionally be assigned across multiple Cleveland Clinic locations. Other duties as assigned.Education:
High School Diploma / GED or equivalent required.Certifications:
None required.Complexity of Work:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Work Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience working within one or more of the following areas: pneumatic systems, installation, maintenance or repair of Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems, ITD, or other related field required.Working knowledge of DDC systems, control theory, piping, blueprints and electrical circuits and schematics.Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods•
Ability to be mobile for extended periods of time•
Ability to travel throughout the Cleveland Clinic health system
•Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment•
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information•
