The role
As a Building Custodian, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. A Building Custodian is required at a large-scale Technical Training site to ensure the delivery of a professional building management and facilities management service and to ensure that buildings are maintained in a clean, safe and secure condition for use by all stakeholders.
Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
Report all faults to ensure that buildings are fit for purpose and are capable of receiving equipment and furniture Co-ordinate the management, care and maintenance and security of all buildings Act as the building security representative and focal points for security matters within their areas of responsibility: Monitor the services provided by sub-contractors and report any issues to the Operations Support Team manager Produce daily communication logs and documentation as required by the Operations Support Team manager
This role is full time and based onsite at MOD Lyneham.
Essential experience of the Building Custodian:
Experience in fault finding and reporting in a building environment.
Qualifications for the Building Custodian:
Full driving license Competent with IT (Microsoft Word and Excel)
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
