GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under minimal leadership be responsible for the safe and economical maintenance and operation of all facets of building maintenance. Perform. Preventive maintenance on all HV AC and mechanical equipment; interface with patients; co-workers and other licensed engineering personnel in the maintenance of various HFH campus buildings. Obtain the training required for existing and new equipment and participate in Quality Improvement teams when necessary. Work as teams with other trades as needed. 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Third (3rd) class refrigeration license. Journeyman HV AC mechanical license. Electrical Journeyman license. Boiler High-pressure license or above. Journeyman plumbing with heating/cooling experience of three (3) years. A minimum of one (1) of the above with five to eight (5-8) years of experience in maintenance of a large industrial or institutional faculty.
