Salary Range: $25.89 - $36.04 / hour

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain all physical plant equipment to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The Building Engineer II may be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays during emergencies.

 

This position is for the second shift. Training will begin on the first shift for the first 4 months or longer, and then will transition to the second shift, which includes one weekend shift. 

Qualifications

Required:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Current Driving LicenseCurrent and ongoing Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) that is considered insurable under the CMHS insurance coveragesFive (5) years general maintenance experience working with electrical, plumbing, and/or mechanical equipmentTwo (2) years of hospital maintenance experiencePrevious experience with construction management, Fire/Life Safety systems and BMS/EMSAble to read plans and blueprints

Preferred:

Knowledge of tools and/or instrumentation used for troubleshooting and repair
