Building and Grounds Maintenance Technician

A local Erie company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced building and grounds maintenance technician. The candidate should be comfortable maintaining manufacturing buildings and acting as a groundskeeper. The ideal candidate will be looking for a long term fit in an established and respected company and be looking to develop their maintenance skills long term.

Responsibilities

Perform light maintenance tasks such as painting, furniture assembly, and general housekeeping.

Troubleshoot potential problems in HVAC, plumbing, and other building systems.

Conduct routine inspections of the building and grounds to identify potential repairs and issues.

Maintain building grounds according to seasonal needs.

Organize and monitor maintenance supplies and order as needed.

Comply with all safety and building codes and requirements.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

Hands on experience with general building maintenance, carpentry, or handyman work.

Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical practices.

Ability to read and follow instructions, manuals, and diagrams.

Independent problem-solving ability.

Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform routine physical labor.

Benefits/Compensation

Temp to hire position.

Full time.

Monday-Friday

6:00am-2:30pm

$18hr
