Miller Brother Staffing Solutions is looking for a qualifed candidate for a Building Maintenance position.  This is a 1st shift position and pay is based on experience--minimum of $16/hour.

Building Maintenance

Shift: Monday through Thursday 8am-5:30pm, Friday: 6am Noon
Pay Range: $16-20/hour
 

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Building Maintenance Support person. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of carpentry, plumbing, ventilation, and general maintenance tasks. This role is critical in ensuring our facilities remain functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform basic carpentry tasks, such as repairing doors, door locks, and minor structural repairs. Handle plumbing issues including fixing sinks, repairing leaks, and unclogging drains and toilets. Assist with ventilation maintenance and repair. Carry out painting and floor repair as needed. Clean and maintain the shop area to ensure a safe and orderly environment. Use a variety of hand tools and equipment to perform maintenance and repair tasks. Work independently to prioritize and complete assigned tasks efficiently.

Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, ventilation, painting, and general building maintenance. Experience with a variety of hand tools. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. 1-2 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects as needed. Comfortable working in various environments and conditions, including outdoors and confined spaces.
