If you answered **YES,** then come and join our Building Maintenance team in Madison, WI! **What will you do be doing?** In this position you will perform routine maintenance and repairs for Facilities Management. **The essential job duties are:** + Perform complex corrective and preventive maintenance tasks + Coach and advise less experienced staff to improve their skills and knowledge + Troubleshoot and repair all engine-powered equipment and vehicles + Construct projects from blueprints or conceptual drawings requiring the operation of cutting, drilling, or shaping tools + Troubleshoot, maintain and repair all low voltage electrical equipment + Perform all aspects of plumbing assignments + Perform complex carpentry assignments + Perform all aspects of painting assignments to include spray painting + Accurately document corrective and preventive maintenance actions in facility monitoring systems as well as on work orders + Interact professionally with facility staff in planning corrective actions + Procure materials for assignments + Other related duties as assigned + Attend mandatory training as required **What do we look for?** + College or trade school training in building maintenance or related field preferred but not required. Experience may be a substituted for education. + 4+ years of experience in facilities or maintenance related capacity + Knowledge and skills in shop and hand tool use, care and maintenance + Ability to read drawings and single-phase electrical systems. + Experience in commercial electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boiler, or industrial maintenance strongly preferred + Experience with a maintenance management systems and excellent documentation skills required **Benefits:** All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
