Building Maintenance Specialist

Be Team AAFP. **SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:** This position will provide the Academy, its sister organizations, and tenants with routine and preventative maintenance to the property, building, and building equipment as needed. This position will enable the Academy as building owner and property manager to effectively manage the building, building systems, and building equipment. This position will expedite the troubleshooting process and resolve problems by being on-site daily and available 24/7 in case of emergencies. Other duties as assigned. **REQUIREMENTS:** Education beyond high school including less than two years of special training related to the job requirements or equivalent work experience plus a minimum of four years related work experience. Previous work with mechanical, electrical and HVAC systems and equipment required. Broad knowledge of construction terminology and experience operating a wide array of tools for maintaining and repairing equipment needed. The physical ability to bend, kneel and work overhead necessary. Must have strong professional customer service skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse client list.
