Job Title: Food court and Hygiene Safety Manager
Overview: The Food court and Hygiene Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of facility, food safety, hygiene, and sanitation across all food preparation and service areas within the organization. This role is crucial in maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain food safety and hygiene programs Conduct regular inspections of food preparation areas, storage facilities, and service areas Train staff on proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of food safety and hygiene practices & conduct regular audits. Investigate and respond to food safety incidents or complaints Liaise with health inspectors and regulatory bodies Maintain accurate records of inspections, training, and corrective actions Stay updated on food safety regulations and industry best practices Manage and mitigate food safety risks Oversee the implementation of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) systems Overlook food court & retail operations. Track & monitor revenue & expenses. Track & suggest new ideas for enhancing food court upkeep & maintenance. Implement strategies to increase sales, such as promotions or new vendor offerings. Report regularly to senior management regarding operational performance, revenue budgets, challenges and customer feedback. Ensure all legal and company-specific requirements (e.g., product labeling, safety) are adhered to.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Food Science, Food Safety, Public Health, or related field Certified Food Safety Professional (CFSP) or similar certification 5+ years of experience in food safety management Thorough knowledge of restaurant/ retail operations, food safety regulations and HACCP principles Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to train and motivate staff Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Proficiency in relevant software and record-keeping systems
