Building Operations Manager

Clover Leaf Solutions is looking for a Project Manager – Building Operations to manage and coordinate building projects within a fast-paced environment. This role requires a driven professional with strong project management skills who can oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensure compliance with corporate standards, and deliver results aligned with customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have experience in project development, construction coordination, and customer communication, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Negotiate with and provide updates to customers on project scope, cost, schedule, quality, and changes for all assigned projects. Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, providing timely solutions to emerging issues. Execute project development and delivery, ensuring adherence to commitments related to scope, cost, and schedule. Coordinate and oversee major building operations, including project work during planned outages (e.g., winter shutdowns). Comply with corporate and facilities requirements and maintain accountability for Environment, Safety, and Health (ESH) planning. Obtain project authorizations from customers and facilities management, as appropriate. Serve as the Sandia Delegated Representative (SDR) for assigned projects, ensuring quality control, contract interpretation, and invoice approvals. Acquire and manage Design and Construction Suppliers, administer contracts, and oversee design and construction activities. Establish and maintain customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and ensuring project deliverables meet high standards. Conduct pre-construction conferences and progress reviews to track milestones and project performance. Review and approve project schedules, invoices, and compliance with contract terms and conditions. Identify, prepare, and negotiate change orders and implement baseline change control processes when needed. Ensure safety on all projects and respond to safety and code violations. Monitor warranty requirements, coordinate follow-up work, and support investigations, audits, or occurrences related to projects. Support other Project Leads and the Operations Team as required, ensuring design integrity and continuity.

Requirements:

Must be a U.S. citizen to qualify for DOE clearance. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 5 years in project management, construction coordination, or facilities management. PMP certification or equivalent is preferred. Strong knowledge of project management principles, construction methods, and safety protocols. Familiarity with project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar tools. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts effectively. Willingness to travel occasionally for project oversight and stakeholder meetings. Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE clearance.
