As a Building Services Manager is responsible for delivery of the ‘hard’ facility management services for the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre Precinct. This role includes the effective communication with relevant staff or sub-contractors to ensure tasks are allocated efficiently and maintenance occurs in accordance with contractual standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with the Asset Manager to develop a comprehensive maintenance service including planned preventative maintenance and unscheduled repairs and maintenance in relation to the new facilityDevelop and maintain strong working relationships with the client representative, contractual key stakeholders and end usersAssist the Engineering Services Manager and Facility Director with financial delivery of all building services in line with the AOP, financial budgets and monthly forecasting.Assist the Engineering Services Manager to ensure the facility always remains compliant and fit for the intended purposes.Manage the successful delivery of all building services, to ensure full compliance to all KPI and Policy and Procedure Manual (PPM) requirements in accordance with the relevant services specification.

Key Experience & Capabilities:

Tertiary qualified (Trade or degree) in Engineering.Minimum 5 years experience in a highly complex building environmentStrong financial capabilityAbility to understand, interpret and comply with contracts and contractual requirementsKnowledge of Building Codes of Australia (BCA) and AS/NZS Standards and its requirements
