DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Building Trade/Construction Occupation Trades Teacher, you will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation of inmates by providing them with valuable vocational skills. Through practical and theoretical instruction in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and other closely related job skills , you will not only equip inmates with the knowledge and techniques necessary for a career in this field, but also help them develop important problem-solving and teamwork skills. Work Schedule and Additional Information: + Full-time employment, 37.5 hour work week + Work hours are 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. + Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $63,053 (before taxes). + This position is eligible for full benefits at age 50 or 55. + You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.
