JR59733 Bumping Process EngineerAs an PWF Bumping Engineer in Micron's Advanced Technology Packaging Development (APTD) team, you will be primarily responsible for developing and optimizing next generation and to achieve high product quality and high efficiency processes. You will also be responsible for improving quality-yield, resolving process/product deviations in short turnaround time, driving continuous improvement, handling changes in photo, wet process (including new process/equipment qualification and new product integration) to support production, identifying operational excellence (Quality, Efficiency, Cycle time, Delivery / Cost improvement) opportunities and leading/participating in projects to realize the potential opportunities through innovative solutions.
Additional responsibilities include coordinating and carrying out photo, wet process evaluation/optimization to implement changes, leading and participating in process maturity and availability improvement and cost reduction activities.
You will be working in a highly collaboration, interacting with various groups such as equipment development, manufacturing, and equipment/material vendors, to ensure robust processes that meet the detailed physical requirements for Micron products. You will grow into an expert engineer, driving PWF (post wafer finish) technology roadmaps, which have a direct influence on Micron’s global leadership in semiconductor manufacturing.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Responsible for photo, wet process development for Advanced package technology research.
• Support project on-site execution and make decisions as technical consultant.
• Troubleshoot a variety of complex problems. Perform Root Cause Analysis and resolve process engineering issues.
• Drive improvement in photo, wet performance. Coordinate experiments for technology development and yield improvement
• Generate internal and external documentation for presentations and technical reports.
Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience in semiconductor photo, wet processes.
• In-depth knowledge of photoresist, wet chemical and defect problem solving.
• Familiar with photoresist, wet strip, wet etchant properties and characteristics, including resolution, PR contrast, etching rate and cleaning chemicals.
• Demonstrated experience with technical problem-solving skills with multitasking.
• Functioning both as individual contributor and as project leader
• Strong communication skills for collaboration cross teams
• Familiar with JMP data analysis and DOE matrix design
• Must be flexible in accommodating changing priorities and working hours to support business needs.
Education and Job experience
• MS with an engineering major
• 3-5 year or above experience in semiconductor process, photo/wet process, or bumping technologies is preferred.
• Fluent communication in both English and Chinese.
