Buncher Operator

1)  Observes proper turnover of work to the next shift operator as well as follow-up from the previous operator.  Thus, the operator should report to one's work area 15 minutes before the start-up time.

  

2)  Obeys plant rules, regulations and policies, as well as observes maximum safety while at work. 

  

3)  Wears the prescribed uniform and the required safety shoes, safety goggles, and ear plug while on duty.

  

4)  Keeps and maintains clean Bunching machines as well as an organized work area. 

  

5)  Runs the bunching machine at a rated speed (as per set up sheet references). 

  

6)  Performs the necessary machine adjustments if process is out of control.  Shuts down bunching machine when in trouble.

  

7)  Maintains the lowest level of scrap items.

  

8)  Ensures that all products produced meet standard specifications. 

  

9)  Ensures that all finished products are tagged properly.  Production tags must contain all the necessary information.

  

10)  Submits the Daily Production Report to the Barewire Shift Leader.

  

11)  Executes proper care of the buncher machine and the issued tools and reports to the shift supervisor on duty as soon as any damaged plant machine and facilities are detected and discovered.

  

12)  Continuously supports the compliance of both DPI's Quality and Environment,  Health and Safety Management System policies and procedures.

  

13)  Must be able to work with others as a team and maintains good team spirit among colleagues.

  

14)  Performs other tasks that may be assigned by superiors from time to time.
