What’s the Opportunity? 

As a Bundle Lead for Lakeshore West you will play a pivotal role for the planning and execution of the CJV portion of the GO Rail Expansion Project Lakeshore West subdivision. This is an extraordinary opportunity to be at the forefront of one of Canada's most monumental projects, where your proficiency and guidance will shape its success. 

 

What You’ll Do: 

Accountable for leading strategic business development activities, formulating solutions to address customer challenges while also pursuing new lines of business and opportunities with new and existing clients

Responsible for the overall planning and scheduling to ensure that projects are constructed in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner

Oversight into the following areas:

- Utility Relocations  
- Deep Foundations  
- GO Station Expansions 
- Grade Separation Construction 
- Bridge widening  

- Structures such as retaining walls, and noise walls

- Traction Power Facility Construction
- Brownfield New Track Construction and Track Rehabilitation  

- Civil Excavation, Grading and Drainage
- Cable containment construction

 

Accountable for the development and execution of the annual business plan within the assigned business unit

Implement procedures and organizational structure

Assist in the establishment and ensure compliance of operational short-term and long-term goals with the overall corporate objectives

Lead, coach, develop and appraise the performance of staff and provide the necessary coordination between activities

Influence, motivate and inform employees about the company/business unit plans and progress

Participate in the development of long-term strategy

 

What You’ll Bring to the Team: 

Post-secondary education in engineering, construction management, or equivalent discipline

Knowledge and/or experience of the rail industry is preferred, specifically Class 1 and High Frequency Passenger Railroads.

Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in civils construction, track, buildings, Utilities, M&E, and Integration of Systems and Telecommunications or related disciplines is required.

General knowledge of non-residential construction methods, building systems, and terminology

Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines for normal functions and special assignments.

Proficiency using MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access) is essential, experience of using estimating software is preferred.

Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Skilled at building positive working relationships with internal and external clients

Good listening and communication skills

Strong leadership skills
