Bundle Racks Team Leader
Job Title: Bundle Racks Team Leader Location: Clarksville, TN Shift: 3rd Shift (11pm - 7am)   The Bundle Racks Team Leader is responsible for leading operations in the Bundle Racks/Swing Arm Forklift area and for providing support to operators to include monitoring proper work flow and the overall accuracy of all tasks.  The incumbent performs administrative functions that promote proper work flow and helps maintain good communication between departments.  Responsible for verifying that work is being properly loaded and unloaded to/from the bundle racks and that proper documentation is completed and followed through.  Stages work and materials to ensure precise quality of finished goods on-time, and ready for the next steps in production.  Coordinates preventive and emergent maintenance including repairs, parts, production defects and system problems with Maintenance and Bindery Supervisors.  Reviews reports to verify and track production. Trains others in equipment operation and process improvement.  Keeps area clean and hazard free and complies with all aspects of the plantā€™s Safety program. Provides support to the Bindery Supervisors and under their guidance, follows the goals and directives set forth by their leadership.     JOB REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS:  High School degree or GED required. Bindery Bundle Racks & production experience required. At least 5 years of Forklift Operator experience. Current Swing Arm Forklift certification/training. Proven leadership ability & great attitude required. Good computer skills / comfortable with regular interface. Good communication skills - written and verbal. Ability to lead and train others to achieve quality and production standards. Strong team player with decision making ability. Organizational skills and ability to multi-task. Must be able to work safely and comfortably at an altitude of 28 feet above ground. Must be able to pass required Forklift and Hand Jack certification w/Jostens. Able to follow written and verbal instructions. Willing to work flexible hours and overtime with short notice. Works well under the pressure of deadlines. Complies with all safety and operations procedures. Must have flexibility to learn and use new technology. Must be able to lift 10 to 60 lbs. at shoulder height.
