As a Burn Unit Registered Nurse at Crozer, you will provide high-quality direct and indirect patient-centered care by coordinating patient care, and working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, patients, and families. You will be working to identify the pathophysiology of burns and use this information to plan appropriate nursing care. You must respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

Responsibilities 

Performs a comprehensive physical assessment of the patient with burn or trauma injury.   Develops and institutes a teaching plan for patients and families on the aspects of wound management.  Identifies stages of human growth and development and uses this information to provide age appropriate care to the patient population served.  Identifies the psychology of developmental stages and uses this information to provide age appropriate care which fosters growth.  Documenting Nursing Process  Communicating with the Physician 

Requirements 

BSN preferred   Current PA RN License  ACLS certification    1 year of clinical nursing experience required
