Make a Difference in Your Community - Bus Driver Opportunity at Buehler YMCA! 

You’ll transport children and/or adults for various programs and trips for the YMCA.  Provides supervision and direction to children and/or adults.

Pay range for this role starts at $16.20-$20.00 per hour, Monday-Friday schedule.

Scope of Responsibilities:

Transport children/adults to and from program activities and site(s). Makes daily safety inspection of bus/van. Reports to supervisor any conditions on bus/van which needs attention or correction. Oversees conduct of children/adults on bus/van. Follows all driver guidelines and standards. Follows YMCA policies and procedures, including those related to medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention and emergencies. May supervise a group of program participants. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years of age.  Must have a valid driver’s license with.  Valid CDL with passenger endorsement highly desirable.

Child Abuse Prevention - Supports the commitment of the YMCA to child abuse prevention by: 

Report any items that may provide a health or safety hazard to staff, members or guests to your supervisor. Follow all policies and procedures related to keeping children safe in our facilities and programs, including those related to the monitoring and supervision of children. Report any suspicious behavior and violation of policy and procedures to your supervisor. Complete all child abuse prevention training as required.
