Paid on-the-job training will be provided for candidates without a CDL and/or prior experience. As a Transit Bus Operator, you'll: + Drive a transit bus; + Pick up and delivers passengers; + Collect and account for fares; + Operate a bus on a designated route per a daily schedule; + Operate a two-way radio and report unusual traffic conditions, passenger emergencies, or other problems; + Operate mobility device lifts and secure mobility devices; + Obey all traffic laws and observe mandatory safety regulations for transit operations to ensure passenger safety. Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: + Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school. + Valid driver's license is required.
