Job role

 

We are seeking a leader to drive our Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) Centers of Excellence in  Insurance test domains. This pivotal role will be responsible for establishing world-class testing practices, enhancing value delivery, driving innovation, optimizing resources, and elevating the strategic importance of BAT within Allianz.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of Business Acceptance Testing at a global level and drive significant impact across Allianz's operations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our ongoing digital transformation efforts and contribute directly to the company's success.

 

What you will do

 

 

1.           Strategy and Leadership:

•            Develop and implement standardized BAT methodologies for Insurance domains

•            Lead the establishment and growth of BAT Centers of Excellence

•            Drive continuous improvement and innovation in testing practices

•            Collaborate with C-level executives to align BAT strategies with business objectives

 

 

2.           Operational Excellence:

•            Enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness across all end of end value of Insurance operations

•            Implement and oversee automation initiatives to increase test coverage

•            Reduce testing cycle times while maintaining or improving quality metrics

•            Optimize resource allocation and utilization across CoEs

 

3.           Stakeholder Management:

•            Improve stakeholder satisfaction and elevate the perceived value of BAT services

•            Integrate BAT representatives into major transformation project steering committees

•            Conduct regular strategy sessions with senior leadership of OEs and program to driving growth

•            Develop and present case studies demonstrating BAT's impact on business outcomes

 

4.           Innovation and Best Practices:

•            Establish a BAT innovation lab to explore and implement cutting-edge testing technologies

•            Develop and publish domain-specific testing best practice guides

•            Drive the adoption of new testing methodologies such as AI-driven testing

 

5.           Team Development:

•            Create and implement comprehensive upskilling programs for team members

•            Foster a culture of continuous learning and cross-domain collaboration

•            Implement skills-based routing systems to optimize resource allocation

 

6.           Performance Management:

•            Set and achieve ambitious KPIs for testing efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness

•            Implement robust feedback loops and action improvement suggestions

•            Regularly report on CoE performance and strategic value to senior leadership

 

What you bring

 

•            Bachelor's degree, Masters preferred

•            10+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or related fields

•       5+ years of operational leadership experience in a global, enterprise-level IT environment

•            Deep understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices across multiple domains

•            Strong knowledge of insurance processes and technologies

•            Proven track record of driving testing in Insurance transformations transformation

•            Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices

•            Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, PMP, Scrum) are a plus

•            Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

•            Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
