Position Summary The Business Account Executive is a key position within the Special Trade Commercial team, providing support across team members to enable the achievement of commercial objectives and Sales budgets. They will actively work across key customers under the guidance of the associated Account Managers to deliver mutually agreed growth plans and Sales budgets. Responsibilities Universal Accountabilities Support the Special Trade account team to achieve budgeted sales and gross margin profit targets across their account base. Specific Accountabilities Support with forecasting to ensure consistent stock availability of customer listings. Help manage promotional plans with involvement to define the plan, forecast the stock, Set-up financial accruals and post evaluation of promotions to provide improvements for the future. Provide administrative support such as Customer product set-up process, pricing set-up, the supply of digital copy for associated Websites and the organisation of samples. Help prepare for customer meetings including the production of customer presentations and play an active role in delivering such meetings which may take place at the customers location. Support in building customer proposals including the production of presentations and commercials. Build relationships with applicable Account contacts to ensure efficient day to day running of the account, whilst maximising the Sales potential Develop expertise in Account Reporting Systems to enable the retrieval of data such as Epos and stock data and support with the tracking of such data. Undertake field visits as required to investigate specific store issues and monitor in-store activity, including competitor activity. Support with customer events and Trade Shows, i.e., stand and product sample organisation. Liaise cross-functionally with internal Stakeholders, i.e., Marketing, Category development and Demand planning to ensure execution of associated tasks. What we are looking for Required Skills and Experience Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification Commercial experience including Sales, Buying, Marketing & Category Development within an FMCG environment. Demonstrable achievements and experience in a Business Account Executive or Sales administration role in a similar environment. Demonstrable experience of managing multiple tasks simultaneously and achieving deadlines. Valid Driving License. Computer Literate (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, SAP related/equivalent systems) Preferred Skills and Experience Working knowledge of UK Retailers and Distributors/Wholesalers Experience working with Retailer systems such as Supplier Epos Portals Experience of the UK Battery and Flashlight market Come join us!
