**Location: Field based / South of England with travel to our Gatwick office as required by the business (1- 2 days per week).**
**Salary: £55k - £60k + car allowance + potential bonus + other fantastic benefits**
**Position Summary**
We have an exciting opportunity for a **Business Account Manager** to join our Nestlé Professional Wholesale & Contract Catering Team, managing Sysco and Foodbuy. You will have direct responsibility for a portfolio of direct customer accounts (principally Sysco UK) in the National Wholesale Out of Home market. The role requires a balance between managing the Sysco central functions such as the Commercial Team, Supply Chain, Digital & Marketing, whilst also developing the visibility and connections with their Channel and Sales Teams. In addition, the role covers the management at Head Office level of selected Categories into Foodbuy.
This is a high-profile role which offers a fantastic opportunity to develop broad cross functional experience, working closely with and developing a deep understanding of multiple functions, including finance, supply, digital, technical, category and sales.

**A day in the life of a Business Account Manager ….**
Reporting to the Head of National / Independent Wholesale & Contract Catering, you will be responsible for the total management of a defined customer ledger and growth of new business within the National Wholesale Out of Home market.
Your responsibilities will include:
+ Management and responsibility for the customer P&L, including delivering required level of NPS across customer portfolio
+ Delivering required level of new points of distribution across customer portfolio and via new business opportunities and effective monitoring / management of sales funnel including new business hunting in potential customers
+ Monitoring and analysing customers performance, identifying trends to accurately forecast business performance. Developing corrective/accelerating actions in order to achieve business objectives
+ Drive clear direction through JBPs which deliver growth & profit in Instant Coffee, Savoury, BDI and Plant Based Food Categories, aligned to NP strategy and customer need, supported by total ownership of contact strategy with key stakeholders by customer across portfolio to promote retention and growth
+ New customer and channel propositions, working with Insight, Category, Finance & DP teams to drive the distribution of existing NP range as well as bringing new formats to market
+ Management of monthly commercial business cycle (Monthly Operational Review, Commercial Review, Trade spend and Demand Planning)
+ Building ‘Winning Relationships’ through effective stakeholder management – internal and external
+ Implement Global Customer strategies ‘in the market’ to the priority customers within the agreed commercial frameworks and time frame
**What will make you successful**
To be successful, you’ll already have some fantastic sales experience under your belt, and will be passionate, tenacious; results focused and enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment. You will also have the following skills & experience:
+ A proven track record of Sales in the FMCG/Foodservice Industry
+ Experience of managing wholesalers and contract caterers would be advantageous
+ Successfully delivered on KPIs, especially top and bottom line business results including successful new business delivery vs. stretching targets
+ Established Customer Key Account management skills focused on collaboratively driving Joint Business plans aligned at a top-to-top level between the Customer and Nestlé Professional
+ The ability to analyse complex situations, lots of data, "join the dots" - build insights based on analysis and develop plans to address the opportunity and mitigate risk
+ Understand the importance of working in a customer centric way at every opportunity
+ Be curious and be courageous, we’re not afraid to think differently and embrace new ideas. We want you disrupt what we do in the right way to drive great results and change
+ The ability to motivate and collaborate with cross functional teams
+ Success at building relationships with all major influencers in buying decisions
