Your Opportunity

The Business Account Specialist works closely with Account manager(s) on month end close out and asset management. This position will maintain established business with existing accounts with continued growth.

Responsibilities

Monthly reconcilement and creation of contracts and order logistics for alternative ingredient accounts.

Management and entry of purchase order/invoices for payment approval.

Execution of month-end pricing and reconciliation of product received. Assist daily with ticket corrections and verification of inbound tonnage.

Upkeep of onsite contractor insurance and MSA’s.

Assist with new business development onboarding for new accounts.

Assists with freight contracts and freight lane management.

Maintain a fleet management plan for alternative ingredients rolling assets.

Plan and insure execution of timely R&M for rolling and off site assets.

Outline and advise procurement team on innovative opportunities to lower cost.

Effectively engage with co-worker, exercise initiative and judgement, look for creative ways to improve and support the procurement strategy.

Work closely with production team to plan for production needs and expectations to hit production goals.

Ability to be resourceful and make quick decisions.

Other duties that require corporate oversight for the success of the business as directed by manager

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Business Administration, Agriculture Business, Economics or related field, and 2+ years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proven ability to lead organizational improvement.

Proven knowledge of the ingredient procurement and negotiation process.

Tolerance for fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Proficient use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Advanced analytical and time management skills.

Must be available for occasional travel.

May be required to work long hours and weekends.

Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.

Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
