The Strategic Sourcing & Procurement (SS&P) sector at ASML is an organization dedicated to ensuring the efficient and cost-effective availability of materials for our factories and customers. With 80% of all components in an ASML machine sourced from specialized external manufacturers, our SS&P activities are vital to the operational and strategic success of ASML.
The Chief-of-Staff group within SS&P plays a crucial role in supporting the management of SS&P and its various teams, ensuring that the strategic objectives of ASML are met. The Chief-of-Staff team collaborates closely with senior management and provides project-based support to Category Managers, Strategic Product Family Team Managers, Logistics, Development & Engineering Managers. This team is essential for driving strategic initiatives, contributing to ASML's competitive edge in the industry.
The Chief-of-Staff team is supporting the Senior Vice President to coordinate category strategies approvals. As an intern you will have the following responsibilities and tasks:
Support the preparation process, including strategy reviews;
Prepare and be part of approval meetings;
Arrange logistics, including location, materials, and presentation for the category strategies and supplier selections;
Support the teams that are performing the negotiations during approval meetings;
Track the results of negotiations and consolidate outcomes in a reports;
Create presentation materials to be shared with stakeholders in ASML.
You will be supervised and coached by one Chief-of-Staff senior Project Manager.
To be a perfect match with this internship, you:
Are a bachelor or master student in a field of study related to Business Administration, (Project) Management or comparable;
Have an affinity with the technical domain;
Have a good self-discipline and collaboration skills;
Have excellent communication- and advisory skills;
Are pro-active and culturally sensitive;
Are fluent in English;
Have extensive Microsoft Office proficiency.
This is an apprentice internship for 3-4 days a week (2 to 3 days on-site) with a duration of 6 months. Envisioned start date is as soon as possible.
Other requirements you need to meet:
You are enrolled as as student at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
In case of a voluntary internship, your university is willing to sign all relevant documents in order to perform the internship (i.e., for non-EU citizens, the Nuffic agreement).
You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you ‘re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, please include in your CV/motivation letter willingness to relocate.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
