At ASML, the Customer Supply Chain Management (CSCM) Quality department at ASML focusses on spare parts and tools needed for maintaining already operational machines at customers and supports quality operations at our warehouses around the world. We own multiple processes and the working instructions for these processes, but we also weigh in on irregularities found during quality operations globally. By doing this we aim to prevent service parts and tools being Dead on Arrival (DOA) at our customers and provide feedback to either suppliers, Design & Engineering (D&E) or 3rd party logistics suppliers (3PL) and prevent re-occurrence of these issues.
The CSCM Quality department is split into three teams; Maintenance and Warehouse Quality Inspections of Tools; Warehouse Quality Inspections of Parts and Project Support. This assignment would be part of the Maintenance and Warehouse Quality Inspections of Tools.
Your assignmentOne of the main tasks of the Maintenance and Warehouse Quality Inspections of Tools’ team is the cleaning of the tools, the verification methods and assure a clean way of working that fulfill the cleanliness specifications to meet our customer requirements.
Lat year, a project on cleaning of the tools in the local warehouses was kicked off and now there is a need for gathering data from all different sources in order to help the project lead to introduce the proper cleaning of the service tools in the field. During this internship you will help in gathering this data, meet with all relevant stakeholders for input and feedback on how the information is best to be shared and deliver a working process that our operational team can maintain.
Your profileTo be a perfect match for this internship, you:
Are a MBO (vocational) or HBO (university of applied sciences) student in a field related to Business Administration, Business Control, looking for an apprentice internship (non-thesis);
Have a great affinity with the logistics domain and data processing;
Are comfortable discussing basic engineering and technical topics.
Are proficient in Microsoft Office;
Speak and write excellent in English. Our working language is English, all your deliverables will need to be written in English.
This internship is for 3 to 5 days per week (3 days on-site), for a minimum of 5 months. The start date is as of February 2025.
Other requirements you need to meet:
You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you ‘re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
