Business Analysis Manager

The Business Transformation team supports the organisation to manage and deliver complex strategic change. Changes that bring new ways of working, new technologies or require significant data handling. Our team collaborates with senior leaders and teams across the organisation to design and implement innovative, and commercially viable business solutions.

As our Business Analysis Manager, you will lead and coach a team of business analysts, develop best practices, and ensure the business analysis service supports meaningful transformation across the organisation.

In this role, you will  be instrumental in shaping how we approach business analysis as a service. You’ll not only lead, mentor, and manage a talented team but also establish best practices and strategies to ensure our solutions align with organisational goals, improve performance, and deliver measurable benefits.

 

Main responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of business analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Develop and promote standard business analysis practice for the team and to build a community of business analysts. Oversee the business analysis services within projects and programmes, ensuring work aligns to strategy and is delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Engage with senior stakeholders to understand and define business needs and design impactful solutions. Facilitate workshops, working closely with internal teams and external partners to create effective change outcomes. Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and best practices while delivering sustainable business transformation.

Key Criteria:

Rich experience in business analysis, working on large, complex business challenges. Proven success in a leadership role, coaching teams and managing resources. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Strong planning and organisational skills with adaptability to changing requirements. Data-driven decision-making and a problem-solving mindset. Familiarity with business analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio, DevOps, SQL) and data analysis techniques.  Industry-recognised Business Analysis qualification (e.g., BCS Practitioner Level) will be an asset.

Salary:  £58,000 – 61,000 per annum depending on experience

Contract: Permanent, full-time (35 hours per week)

Based: Home-based with occasional travel across the UK.
