As a mid-level business analyst, you will work directly with the customer and/or end users to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, driving efficiency and clarity across projects. Your ability to gather, analyze, and document requirements will ensure teams have a clear understanding of project goals and deliverables. By identifying opportunities for process improvements and leveraging data to inform decision-making, you will help streamline operations, increase productivity, and contribute to the success of strategic initiatives, ultimately driving the organization toward its objectives.
Responsibilities\:
Conduct requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders, including business users, managers, and technical teams, to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Analyze business processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose solutions to improve workflows and enhance overall performance.
Document detailed functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment between business objectives and technical capabilities.
Collaborate with project managers and development teams to prioritize and manage requirements, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to business needs.
Create and maintain project documentation, such as user stories, use cases, process flows, and data models, to track project progress and ensure alignment.
Perform data analysis to support business decision-making, using tools like Excel, SQL, or BI software to extract insights and make recommendations.
Support testing phases by developing test plans, executing test cases, and ensuring that the delivered solution meets business requirements.
Monitor project progress and communicate updates, risks, and roadblocks to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Facilitate communication between business and technical teams, ensuring that expectations are clear and that technical solutions align with business needs.
Provide training and support to end-users, helping them understand new systems, processes, or tools implemented in the business.
Stay updated on industry trends, continuously learning new tools, techniques, or methodologies to improve analysis and support ongoing projects.
