The Oracle Business Systems Analyst will take direction from the Oracle Business Systems Manager/Lead in support of Oracle Finance-related production issues and participate in rollout/implementation of selected Oracle modules.
Candidates must quickly become proficient with the Systems and solutions group IT processes and standards.
The job includes identifying user requirements, writing functional specifications, reviewing technical specifications, developing test plans and scripts, testing applications, developing, and training end users, and successfully implementing into production multiple business system solutions at the same time. The ability to trouble shoots and resolve problems quickly is essential.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Build strong relationships with the main user groups and develop a collaboration cadence to ensure alignment of projects and priorities. Drive best-in-class management practices, proactively manage issue resolution, and foster a continuous improvement attitude for end-to-end Oracle implementation project. identifying user requirements, writing functional specifications, reviewing technical specifications, developing test plans and scripts, testing applications, developing, and training end users and successfully implementing into production multiple business system solutions Drive strong processes and subject areas across the team. Ensure that we work on issues with pride, integrity, and a sense of urgency. Work closely with the user groups to drive consistent metrics reporting and review. Utilize our metrics to drive positive behavior, instill accountability, and demonstrate willingness and ability to learn from our mistakes.Who You Are:
Work closely with our user groups and have Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
For This Role, You Will Need:
Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant IT experience as a functional consultant in Oracle Finance. Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication abilities. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills Basic knowledge in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms Experience in supporting Oracle Applications production system, working on support tickets, and providing solution(s) for the same. Experience in end-to-end Oracle implementation project Experience with full Systems Development Life Cycle Experience with interpreting & analyzing user requirements specifications.Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related area Experience in Oracle Applications R12 Financials (GL,AR,AP, iExpense, Costing and related modules) having Project Accounting knowledge will be added advantage.
