Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of pricing strategies for the relevant division/business unit/product group, to maximize profit and market share, while ensuring customer satisfaction with ABB. Each day, you will follow a robust pricing infrastructure and pricing policies to deliver measurable results. You will also showcase your expertise by providing support for developing effective and efficient standards and special pricing strategy in line with the global division strategy, value, competition, and cost/profit.The work model for the role is: #LI- Onsite, #LI-HybridThis role is contributing to the ABB Services in Bangalore. You will be mainly accountable for:1.\tTransfer pricing process:•\tThis role would act as the SPOC for all transfer price requests of NEMA products. Involves receiving requests from various stakeholders for extension of pricing data for NEMA products as required for the respective LSU•\tHe/she is needed to process these incoming requests and extend the price for the requested products as per the guidelines shared. Some of the cases might not have a past reference hence he/she is expected to reach out to multiple stakeholders to get the required details to process such requests•\tThe role requires seamless collaboration between stakeholders spread across geographies and time zones – hence agility and speed of response is very vital success criteria. •\tNeeds strong written & oral communication skills to understand the nature of requests coming in and judge the appropriate guideline to be applied.•\tRequires a process mindset to streamline a diverse type of requests and maintain records and documentation for every case resolved.•\tNeeds to take complete accountability & ownership of the process and work independently. Requires high cognitive skills - ability to work with little information, breakdown complex business problems, detailed oriented and reasoning skills.2.\tCost Validation Process•\tThe task requires the person extract the cost details used by the LSU’s (various factories/RDC’s) and validate their correctness using benchmark reports•\tNeeds high level of attention to detail to spot large swings (upside/downside), outliers (that impact margin adversely). Strong knowledge of excel including automation tools to design & implement rules to run this process efficiently. (Including VBA Macros).

Qualifications for the role

\t5 to 10 years of prior experience in pricing processes/business processes optimization\tFinance or MBA background would be preferred\tExposure to a multi-cultural environment is an added advantage. Ability to get into the most granular details of technical/ implementation/ operational issues.Must have:\tAdvanced MS Excel skills including Macros & VBA and advanced PowerPoint skills.\tGood to have hand on experience with data modeling/transformation using SQL.\tAbility to create custom queries in SAP to extract data- requires knowledge of SAP Table structures\tGood to have skills in Power BI/ Tableau
