Daikin Applied is seeking a highly analytical and improvement-driven Business Analyst with a Process Industrial Engineering background to support key initiatives across our HVAC engineering operations. This role is responsible for mapping current-state business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting Lean and Six Sigma projects across various departments. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and process excellence. What you will do:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document and map current business processes using tools such as SIPOC diagrams, value stream mapping, and process flowcharts Analyze existing workflows to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement Develop and propose solutions using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline operations and eliminate waste Assist in the development and implementation of standardized processes and best practices Support continuous improvement projects from ideation to execution and validation Translate business needs into actionable requirements and process improvements Serve as a key contributor to process documentation, SOP creation, and metric tracking Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders with clear communication and supporting data Contribute to Kaizen events, root cause analysis (RCA), and PDCA cyclesWhat’s in it for you:

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within HVAC or a related industry Experience with Lean principles and Six Sigma tools; Green Belt required, Black Belt preferred Proficient in process mapping, SIPOC development, and business process analysis Familiarity with ERP systems and data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Minitab) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly articulate process issues and solutions Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesPreferred Qualifications:
HVAC or industrial manufacturing background Experience supporting or leading continuous improvement initiatives with measurable impact Exposure to ISO or quality management systemsBenefits:

The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
