As a Business Analyst, you’ll be asked to serve as the liaison between our customer and the development team using the Agile software development methodology.
Contributions As a Business Analyst you will lead the collection, capture, and management of mission user needs from prioritization, concept development, and feature writing to support development and deployment.Help define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; prepare and distribute progress reports; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning for assigned projects.Must have experience managing Agile/Information Technology related projects and must be well versed in software development life cycle and project management methodologies.Support managing customer expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and help to implement an effective system of project governance.Apply different techniques to facilitate meetings and workshops, create a shared understanding with stakeholders, and engage team-members to produce product and portfolio roadmaps.Collaborate with stakeholders and product teams to decompose large epics into features and user stories that can be understood and approved by members of the development team.Document Acceptance Criteria in stories in a way that both development team and business stakeholders can understand and agree on the content. Qualifications Bachelor’s DegreeMinimum 5+ years experience with IT implementationsMust have knowledge of Steampunk DI integrated approachUnique combination of being business-minded and highly analytical while also having a strong and deep technical background in Salesforce.comAbility to work on multiple tasks and deliver results with aggressive timelinesAble and willing to work independently and in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, with minimal supervisionExcellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences that are in a geographically dispersed environment (conference calls, Skype, face-to-face)Ability to produce high quality documentation and analysisTake initiative to recommend process improvements and demonstrate creative thinkingDemonstrate self-motivation and the ability to grasp concepts quicklyDemonstrate sharp, analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skillsKnowledge and experience with Agile Scrum methodology About steampunkSteampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $70,000 to $100,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
