What the day will look like + Meet with key stakeholders and user groups to gather and analyze requirements. + Analyze workflow to document process maps and isolate areas of potential improvement. + Analyze the functional impact of initiatives to the whole platform and related applications. + Develop functional specifications that design and document desired outcome of system enhancement/development. + Produce technical specifications to communicate user requirements in technical terms to developers and the project team. + Execute comprehensive integration tests and work closely with the development team to coordinate deployment activities. + Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the overall efficiency, functionality and user friendliness of system enhancement/development. + Prepare material and provide training and assistance to end-users following implementation. + Work as a crucial component of a project team responsible for designing new solutions, enhancing existing systems, and developing new features. Skills and experience that will lead to success + Degree / master's with 3-5 years' experience in finance, insurance, software industry or consulting in similar roles. + Demonstrated ability to effectively connect with end-users and technical teams at all organizational levels. + Comprehensive understanding of the systems/software development life cycle. + Proficient technical knowledge in programming, system design, IT infrastructure, and database concepts. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Exceptional ability to analyze and interpret business needs to develop suitable technical solutions. + Superior technical specification writing and documentation skills. + Proficient in tools and technologies such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Excel, SQL, R, and Python. + Proven experience in delivering products within the finance and insurance industry. + Proven experience with various software delivery methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Kanban. + Strong understanding of UI/UX, user-centric, and design driven product development.
