Business Analyst
Description Our rapidly growing client is looking for a capable Business Analyst to join their team in Brentwood, Tennessee. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in analyzing financial data, creating dynamic reports, and optimizing workflows using advanced tools like Power BI and Microsoft Power Products. This primarily onsite role offers the opportunity to collaborate across departments while contributing to the improvement of data-driven decision-making processes. Responsibilities: • Conduct thorough analysis of financial data and performance metrics to identify trends and insights. • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI to support business objectives. • Streamline reporting processes by implementing efficient workflows and leveraging automation tools. • Utilize Microsoft Power Products, including Power Automate and Power Apps, to enhance data workflows and operational efficiency. • Collaborate with treasury, finance, and IT teams to ensure system compatibility and address technical challenges. • Perform ad hoc financial analyses to support decision-making and strategic planning. • Create and manage workflows to improve reporting and data accessibility. • Act as a liaison to bridge communication and understanding between technical and non-technical teams. • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data used in reporting and analysis. Requirements • Proven experience in data analysis and reporting, with a focus on financial metrics. • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and Excel (Mandatory)for creating dashboards and performing analyses. • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps (strongly preferred) to optimize workflows. • Strong understanding of business processes and ability to document requirements effectively. • Ability to perform gap analysis and trend analysis to identify opportunities for improvement. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication skills to collaborate across departments and present findings. • Experience in creating workflows to streamline reporting and data processes.
