Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking a Business Analyst. This role is 75% remote with occasional travel to the client site. Summary: The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role on the engagement by understanding the business requirements, documenting them and work in co-ordination with the development team to get them delivered to the client. The key objective of the project is to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our client's property and casualty insurance billing processes, by implementing a packaged billing software, while ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities: * Analyze and document current billing processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization within the property and casualty insurance framework * Collaborate with client business and other cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications for system enhancements and new capabilities * Support data mapping exercise to move data from current system to the new billing system * Facilitate stakeholder meetings to communicate findings, gather feedback, and ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables * Ensure acceptance criteria on requirements is clearly established and get the sign off from the client as needed
