Business Analyst
Description Primary Function: We’re looking for a seasoned Senior Software Business Analyst to join our fast-paced, collaborative team. In this key role, you’ll act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring our software solutions align with strategic goals and deliver real business value. You’ll gather and analyze complex requirements, translate them into clear, actionable documentation, and help shape intuitive user interfaces. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and usability of our systems. You’ll also mentor junior analysts, lead cross-functional initiatives, and play a critical role in improving our product development and delivery processes. Key Responsibilities: + Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. + Translate requirements into functional specs, user stories, and wireframes using tools like Confluence, Jira, and Figma/Draw.io. + Conduct gap analyses and create end-to-end workflow diagrams. + Design intuitive UI flows and mockups that align with user needs and business goals. + Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation and testing. + Lead regular project meetings, track progress, and communicate updates to business users. + Identify project risks and escalate issues proactively. + Continuously evaluate and suggest improvements to existing processes and applications. + Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations. Requirements What We’re Looking For: + 8+ years of experience as a Functional or Software Business Analyst. + Strong background in UI/UX design principles and tools (e.g., Figma, Lucid Chart, Miro, Visio). + Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to lead discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. + Deep understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and tools like Jira and Confluence. + Strong analytical and documentation skills with attention to detail. + Experience in healthcare or pharmacy operations is highly preferred. + Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is a plus. Preferred Skills: + Ability to visualize and design user-friendly web application interfaces. + Experience documenting complex workflows and translating them into clear, actionable formats. + Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare systems.
