About the Role

The Business Analyst will be mainly responsible to document, validate, and translate the business requirements into user stories as well as system functional specifications that will be used by developers to design and develop the technical solution. He/She will serve as an interface between the business stakeholders/users and the development team for the business and functional requirements.

Partner with IT and vendors in solutioning, proposal preparation, drive development and deliveryLead business users to define User Acceptance Tests (UAT), preparation of test scripts and support UATUnderstand firmwide technology and data servicesManage relationships with key vendors/developers to improve solution qualityParticipate and trace enhancement activities including improvement opportunity identificationManaged end-to-end business system incident management with IT support to address issuesFacilitate and assist in the development of a business caseAnalyze and document user requirementsUnderstand and report on current state vs future stateEvaluate, design, and improve business processes as necessaryDesign and validate the functional solution using waterfall/agile methodology (Agile involves interpreting the product / functional requirements into agile epics and stories and planning stories for the sprint.)Solid understanding of functional decomposition and what is required for a system phased implementationMaintain a high quality of deliverables and ensure strict timelines are adhered to as part of team deliveryEnsure strict requirements traceability maintained and improve on overall product deliverablesManage project-related risks and operational risks incidents in alignment with Local and Group regulationsTake appropriate steps to bring any open support cases to resolution in a timely mannerTest and validate the functionality of the technical solution against the business requirements ensuring that the business requirements are delivered in the implemented solution as planned
