They are a team of experienced cybersecurity professionals with a track record of success in the Federal, Commercial, and Academic workspaces. Additionally, our client designs, builds, operates, and secures scalable cloud and IT infrastructures to meet their customers’ near-term needs and fulfill their long-term requirements.

 

Responsibilities

Our client is looking for a Business Analyst to support their end client's Tehnical Requirements Team (TRT). You will support the TRT and its leadership by identifying, eliciting, and decomposing requirements. You will also facilitate team and customer ceremonies and foster effective communication, both verbally and through written artifacts and documentation. Your role sits within a continuously evolving Agile and DevSecOps environment, requiring you to proactively adapt and contribute to the organization’s maturation process. Your ultimate aim is to deepen and broaden your team’s impact through the delivery of innovative, desirable, and mission-critical software products.

Analyze and understand business needs and translate them into governance artifacts and product backlog itemsPerform AoAs and assess courses of action by a variety of factors including value, cost, feasibility, and riskPerform estimation and complexity assessments of customer IT requestsCreate and manage conceptual delivery schedules and product roadmapsGenerate and manage artifacts and knowledge basesGenerate and manage body of evidence (BOE) generation and submissionAssist in test planning and managementFacilitate and refine team level ceremoniesIdentify, map, and track dependencies internal and external to the teamCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient product development and deliveryUtilize product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and M365 to accomplish daily duties

Requirements

2 years of experience working on, or in direct support of a software development team or in an enterprise architecture organizationExperience working in Agile and Scrum methodologiesFamiliarity with Cloud environments, particularly AWSUnderstanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)General understanding of popular backend and frontend technologiesExperience with Confluence and JiraExperience with the Microsoft 365 (M365) suiteExperience in backlog management, including Epic, Feature, User Story development, and refinementAbility to be on-site 60% of the time at a client SCIF located in Washington D.C.Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with team members

Preferred Requirements

Familiarity and experience performing analysis of alternatives (AoAs)Familiarity and experience with the Intelligence Community (IC), and the intel cycleFamiliarity and experience with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)Familiarity and experience with Government risk management frameworks (RMF) and cybersecurity authorization processesMaster’s degree or equivalent experience in a related fieldPrevious experience in a similar roleFamiliarity and experience operating within the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)Strong track record of successfully supporting the delivery of valuable software productsExperience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environmentKnowledge of user research methodologies and the ability to derive actionable insightsProficiency in additional project management and collaboration toolsA passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologiesStrong stakeholder management skills and experienceCloud budgeting and forecasting experienceAny relevant certifications

Education/Certification Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required

Clearance Requirements

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an active TS/SCI clearance is required. Please be aware that onboarding can take 4-6 weeks for this position.
