Business Analyst

 

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:  

Conduct thorough assessments of existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement utilizing Six Sigma principles.

Lead and manage process optimization projects, including defining project scopes, timelines, and resource requirements.

Monitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure successful project completion.

 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and implement process enhancements.

Continuously monitor and evaluate processes to ensure ongoing optimization.

Develop, document, and update procedures and work instructions to ensure clarity and consistency in processes.

Regularly update and maintain Procedures and Work instructions to reflect process changes and improvements.

Assist in defining, evaluating, and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with business goals and objectives.

Generate reports and dashboards to communicate KPI results to stakeholders.

Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks and implement technology solutions to enhance efficiency.

Lead change management initiatives associated with process improvements to ensure smooth transitions and user adoption.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:  

Certified Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred.

Proven experience in process mapping, procedure, and work instruction documentation.

Strong proficiency with Visio, Smartsheets, and Excel.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Organization skills to track document progress needed.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve results

Experience with process optimization and creating efficiencies

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:  

3-5 years’ experience in construction preferred. Experience in process creation/optimization is needed.

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
