Business Analyst

Are you an analytical and results-driven professional with a passion for using data to drive business decisions? Emerson is seeking a Business Analyst to join our team and support key initiatives that enhance sales operational efficiency and drive better business outcomes. Based in our Shakopee, MN location, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze sales processes, define key performance indicators, and deliver insights that support business strategy.
 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Gather and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for process improvement. Collaborate with team members across various departments (sales, operations, marketing) to define business needs and recommend data-driven solutions. Monitor key sales metrics and report findings to inform decision-making and strategy development. Lead and participate in projects aimed at improving sales operational processes and increasing overall sales performance. Design and document workflows, processes, and systems to support sales initiatives. Use business intelligence tools to develop reports and dashboards that provide insights to key customers. Conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions to close performance or operational gaps in sales. Support sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes by providing accurate and timely data analysis. Analyze customer data to identify sales opportunities and enhance customer relationship management (CRM) strategies.

You are a critical thinker who uses data to drive insights and recommendations. You have a strong understanding of sales drivers and know how to translate data into actionable strategies. You are a proactive problem-solver who collaborates with different teams to shape initiatives and deliver measurable results. 
    For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor's degree Zero (0) years related experience Legal authorization to work in the United States

  Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at all levels. Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
