What You’ll Do

As a Business Analyst, you play a critical role supporting the Pricing Strategy team in developing rate cards as well as managing rate cut updates and handling communications to the pricing community.

This role plays an important contributor to analysing business problems and recommending solutions which drive data decision making within our organisation. You use your analytical skills and experience to contribute to specialist analysis which leverage a variety of analytical tools to draw critical insights which drive commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of evaluating and analysing internal performance against business targets and KPIs, including the preparation of productivity updates and other companywide reporting requirements.Assist with the management and implementation of key projects, ensuring the appropriate mitigations are considered to minimise or eliminate any impact to the businessCollaborate and engage with business stakeholders to gather, develop and document detailed business requirements considering future needs and changing business needsGather relevant sources of data (research, modelling, forecasting and reporting) about business requirements, processes and problems to identify key trends which enable business decisions, identifying and acting on any risks ng and acting to address risksActively contribute to the delivery of short-term priorities/projects by conducting data mining and business analysis including sales performance, customer segmentation, product usage, customer experience and behaviour to assist in formulating business strategiesLeverage tried and tested problem solving and analytical techniques such as root cause assessment and gap analysis to understand pain points and propose solutions and recommendations for consideration.Identify, validate and analyse data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights, help identify areas of opportunity and make recommendations for consideration to enable effective decision making.Conduct modelling, forecasting and option/scenario analysis to support business decisions for designated areaIdentify opportunities to innovate and encourage others to share ideas which create greater efficiency and team effectivenessProgram manage on-going business initiatives, support rate card updates and management, and spearhead Track Pricing campaignsDevelop and undertake or contribute to projects, including but not limited to Pricing Community digital journey and business process improvement initiatives.Develop and support the Product Ratecard lifecycle.Drive engagement and adoption of new capability / tools: this may include introductory / training sessions, quantitative analysis of take-up rates. 

About You

To be successful in this role, you must have:

Bachelor’s degree in any fieldAt least 5 years relevant experience in Pricing, Commercial, Business Support and Data Analytics roleExtensive expertise in data analytics and dashboard reportingAdvanced proficiency in MS ExcelFamiliarity with applications and systems like IntegralPlus, Salesforce, SAP CRM, Tableau, MS Macros, PowerBI, and Alteryx is a plusStrong communication skills and proficiency in PowerPoint.Above-average program management skills with a detail-oriented approach.
