Complete Description:-
support the Office of the Chief Technology Officer’s (OCTO’s) Chief of Staff. This position plays a key role in assisting with agency strategic planning, developing technical and non-technical requirements for various projects, tracking, monitoring and follow-up with project schedules, deliverables and tasks, communicating with executives and stakeholders, performing necessary analysis and complex studies, validating data and information, presenting findings, preparing presentations and documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures and process flows. Excellent analytical, communication, writing and presentation skills are required in order to support the Executive team on day-to-day operations to implement innovative initiatives and drive process and policy improvements. The ability to utilize analytical and communication skills to craft communication correspondence and other documents for the Chief of Staff is key. The main duties are as follows:
-Coordinates with Executive and Senior management on various assignments
-Develops and maintains excellent relationships with Executives, senior management, customers and other stakeholders
-Utilizes excellent communication and writing skills to craft important correspondence and other documents
-Gathers requirements, analyzes needs, identifies risks, proposes designs and writes documentation of technical and non-technical projects
-Develops and/or documents Standard Operating Procedures, guidelines, and processes
-Assists with all aspects of agency strategic planning, development, implementation, monitoring, and close-out process
-Performs strategic business analysis to evaluate (on a quantitative or qualitative basis) the effectiveness of IT investments in meeting established goals and objectives;
-Conducts complex studies or special projects using selects qualitative and quantitative methodologies appropriate to the program/project
-Gathers, reviews, analyzes, and evaluates performance data of program/project goals, and identifies any systemic problems and makes recommendations to improve effectiveness of administrative operations or project outcomes
-Develops, prepares, and makes oral and/or written presentations/reports on study results, status, compliance, and/or critical deficiencies affecting assigned programs or projects, etc.
This position will also perform other duties as assigned and has a strong possibility of being extended beyond the current Period of Performance.
