This position serves as an extension of the operations team to solutions and will be responsible for the solutioning, pricing, and information transfer from sales to operations for new customers or existing customers with new projects. Works directly with Operational Leaders and connects appropriate teams and resources to ensure operational efficiency and integrity. Critical responsibilities include pricing functions and key business analysis for pricing optimization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide support for developing strategies to manage new business opportunities and improve current processes.Identifies and creates pricing solutions in a way that maximizes revenue.Analyze customer data and communicate findings to appropriate teams (solutions, operations, and other key stakeholders as necessary).Orchestrates and leads recurring communications between Sales and Operations to ensure overall information integrity in the Solutioning pipeline.Compile customer data and incorporate analytical data to assist in determining optimal pricing strategies.Participates in and supports bid processes for new customers or new projects for existing customers.Serves as the liaison between sales, operations and support teams within the company in order to ensure informed decisions for pricing proposals, value propositions, and proposed executions.Create and standardize Statement of Work (SOW) documents to define scope and pricing of proposed solutions.Create, analyze and maintain pricing reports and analysis.Utilizes databases and reporting dashboards for use in analyzing current and future opportunities.Makes recommendations to management regarding revenue or profit generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies.Participates in continuous improvement and process standardization projects within operations and accounting.

QUALIFICATONS

Education & Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation or logistics with a focus in pricing or solutioning. Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, Business, or related field required. Experience with WMS functionality preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office products used for data analytical needs; requires frequent high-level manipulation of spreadsheets in Excel.  Knowledge of business logistics and supply chain management, including transportation, distribution, and customer service. Advanced mathematical skills to apply concepts to practical situations and compute and interpret numerical data. Ability to learn and effectively use software applications. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and exercise good judgment in dealing with sensitive information. Must possess a high level of reasoning ability and common sense to resolve complex problems and analyze data and information accurately. Ability to work effectively in a team. Exemplary organization and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under minimal supervision and with a strong sense of self-motivation. Strong analytical ability and high attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a changing environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to sufficiently read, speak, and write on a professional level. Comfortable presenting to and communicating with a range of employees, managers, and customers.
