Position Description:
Customer service/help desk experience. (Candidate will provide technical and application support to a designated number of State Agency Disability Determination Service Centers as a representative of SSA). Support will include trouble shooting production issues.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills as candidate will support off-site DDS locations in various states.
Skills Requirements:
Mandatory:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Basic knowledge of MS SQL.
Ability to perform the following activities:
· Coordination of all disability application activities with the DDS' and Federal Disability components.
· Provide support that verifies the operational components involved in the disability-making process can operate in a fully electronic environment.
· Analysis of technical issues experienced during the pre-implementation, implementation and post-implementation phases.
· Provide input to the testing documentation in various environments.
· Provide support for legacy system software to ensure that it will function properly for the users on the target production date.
· Provide implementation dry run and support for disability software releases (requires occasional weekend support).
· Support routine maintenance activities to ensure the successful continued operation of systems and programs.
· Support post-implementation review activities and provide ongoing post-implementation maintenance support.
