The Business Analyst is responsible for the set of tasks and techniques used to work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations of an organization.

 

Complete Description:

The Department of Mental Health has a need for a experienced Business Analyst to work on their Financial and Billing System (FABS)  This project is a billing system for Hospitals and will go thru 2014.   The successful resource will have  experience in the health industry with #270, 271, 835, 837 transaction knowledge.  Agile environment, techincal requirements, use case building, testing all phases, excellent interpersonal skills.  They must be comfortable speaking with hospital administrators and fiscal representatives. 

Years of Relevant Experience:

4 to 6 years

Preferred Education:

4 year college degree or equivalent.

Role Description:

All roles specified plus additional work experience and job knowledge.

 

This position is to work with an Angile development  teat on the development of a fiscal / hospital application.  Prior experience in this type of development project is a plus.  This application is to develop an environment that creates patient bills, A/R, reporting and balancing.  The candidate should have prior experience in the creation of business and technical requirements, Use case test creation, user acceptance testing and transaction balancing.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are critical, attention to details and team development.  This project will run until 2014.
